As part of a recent hackathon at Wahoo Fitness, I developed Wahoo Guide, a tool designed to help customers choose the right KICKR for their home setup. The project aimed to simplify decision-making by allowing users to preview KICKR trainers in their physical space with their phone.
Customers often struggle to determine which KICKR model fits best in their available space. Product dimensions alone don’t provide a clear understanding of real-world placement, leading to uncertainty in purchasing decisions.

This hackathon project gave me hands-on experience with Blender for 3D asset creation and WebAR for in-browser AR rendering. It reinforced the importance of interactive product visualization. Eventually this concept made its way into the Wahoo Fitness ecommerce site. This concept was even more useful when we launched KICKR RUN, the largets piece of hardware we've ever made.
